Difference between on-premises and cloud.

On-premises	Cloud
1.           High pay, less scalability	Pay what you use i.e scale up…pay more. Scale down---pay less
2.           Allow huge space for servers	No server space is required
3.           Appoint a dedicated team for hardware and software maintenance	No experts are required for hardware and software maintenance. They are get managed by the cloud providers. If we want to manage, they provide option for console and it is simpler than the directly managing on-premises.
4.           Less chances of data recovery.	Data recovery is possible
5.           It will give you the maximum level of security and data privacy. But you will also have 24/7 physical access to your machines and software installed on them. But it is expensive solution	Better data security with cheap cost compared to on-premises.
6.           Lack of flexibility: If I want to restructure the my Application on business need…it is not so friendly.	High flexibility:In the cloud we can migrate to new environment or old environment is just in few mouse clicks away.
7.           Data access can not be done remotely easily, even the same team member	Data can be accessed and shared any where over the internet. It just few mouse click or through mobile also can be accessed.
