cloud computing service models

Total we have three cloud computing service models:

1.  Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS)

2.  Platform as a Service(PaaS)

3.  Software as a Service(SaaS)

IaaS:

Infrastructure as a Service:

Which gives users access to storage, networking, services and other computing resources through the cloud.

Example for IaaS providers:

·      AWS (Amazon Web Services)

·      Microsoft Azure

·      Google Compute Engine (GCE)

·      GoDaddy

Platform as a Service(PaaS)

This service layer is primarily geared towards developers and operations professionals. Service providers rent out cloud-based platforms for users to develop and deliver applications. PaaS provides a framework that makes it easier and efficient to build, customize and deploy applications.

Examples: AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Windows Azure, Google App Engine, Apache Stratos,….

3.  Software as a Service(SaaS)

Example: Zoom Tool, GoTo Meeting, Skype, SalesForce, CISCO WebEx, Google Apps, Dropbox..

Which is a computer application services are well-known of the cloud service models. We can host, delivered by the third party through the internet.
